Return Eligibility
Hero Basics accepts returns only for defective clothing, shoes and accessories that meet the following criteria:
- Items with manufacturing defects
- Items received damaged due to shipping (damage must be documented/photographed upon delivery)
- Items that significantly differ from their product description
- Items with missing components or accessories
Return Process
- Submit a return request through our online form at https://herobasics.com/returns or click on the button at the bottom of this page within 14 calendar days of receiving your order
- Wait for our customer service team to review your request (within 2-3 business days)
- If approved, you will receive detailed return instructions and a return authorization number
- Package your item securely with all original tags and documentation
- Ship the item using the provided instructions
Important Notes
- All items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition, with all tags attached. Shoes must be returned with the original packaging
- Damage caused during the opening of your package (from scissors or other sharp objects) is not covered under our return policy. Open packages with care
- We reserve the right to deny returns that do not meet our eligibility criteria and policy
- Deliberately damaged or altered items will not be accepted for return
- Returns without prior authorization will not be processed or accepted
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method
- Refunds typically process within 5-7 business days depending on the financial institution
- Your refund amount will exclude original shipping charges for exchanges
- You will receive an email notification when your refund is processed
Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”
- Items damaged after delivery due to improper handling
- Items without original tags and packaging including shoes
- Items showing signs of wear, washing, or alteration
Shipping Costs
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- Items returned due to customer error or will be reshipped at customer expense
- Items returned due to Hero Basics error will be reshipped at our expense
Exchanges
We understand that finding the right size when shopping online can be challenging. For size exchanges:
- Size exchanges must be requested within 14 calendar days of receiving your order
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, and have all original tags attached
- Submit a size exchange request through our online form at https://herobasics.com/returns or click on the button at the bottom of this page
- Input “Size Exchange” as your return reason in the form
- Specify the new size you would like to receive
- Wait for approval and shipping instructions before sending your item
Please Note:
- Exchanges are subject to size availability
- You are responsible for the return shipping costs of your original item
- Hero Basics will cover the shipping cost of your replacement size
- Only one size exchange per item is permitted
- If your desired size is unavailable, we will process a return according to our standard return policy
